Position Summary

Quality Tube USA is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support our Electrical Maintenance team at our Midlothian, Texas manufacturing facility.

The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will oversee electrical maintenance activities during production, ensuring equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently. This position will supervise Electrical Technicians, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to equipment failures, and work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong electrical troubleshooting skills, maintenance experience, and the ability to lead and develop a technical maintenance team in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and support Electrical Technicians.
• Coordinate and prioritize preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Respond to electrical equipment failures and support technicians with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Generate, assign, and follow up on maintenance work orders.
• Identify equipment faults and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Ensure necessary spare parts, materials, tools, and equipment are available.
• Monitor team attendance, performance, and development.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience supervising an electrical maintenance team in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical fault diagnosis and repair.
• Experience with work order management.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on production and maintenance needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certification, or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in steel manufacturing, tube/pipe manufacturing, ERW, metal fabrication, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with industrial automation and electrical control systems.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, motors, drives, sensors, and electrical panels.
• Experience with equipment reliability, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Midlothian, Texas. The role requires regular presence on the manufacturing floor and may involve exposure to industrial machinery, noise, heat, dust, and other manufacturing conditions. Required PPE must be worn in designated areas.
