Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and optimize CMM programs online and offline to ensure precise measurement of complex components and assemblies, utilizing advanced software tools.
- Collaborate with industry leading clients to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements for accurate measurement strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMM operations, system integration, and application workflows, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Support the implementation of new metrology systems by assisting with system setup, calibration, validation, and documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements by analyzing measurement data, identifying trends or discrepancies, and recommending adjustments.
- Maintain detailed records of measurement procedures, calibration logs, and system configurations in compliance with ISO 17025 standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in metrology, system architecture, and software solutions such as Polyworks or CMM Manager that enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience programming coordinate measuring machines (CMM) or vision systems, including proficiency with Polyworks or equivalent software platforms.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading within manufacturing environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and metrology best practices.
- Effective communication skills to demonstrate state of the art metrology hardware and software systems.
Pay: $50, $75,000.00 per year
