Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program
- LVN/LPN license in the state of employment (compact license accepted)
- BLS certification
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general nursing care and administer treatments according to standards
- Assist providers during exams, treatments, and testing
- Record and report patient conditions and reactions
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain smooth patient flow
- Prepare patients for exams, obtain vitals, and collect samples as needed
- Perform nursing tasks within licensure scope, including medications, wound care, IV therapy (with training), and patient education
- Maintain accurate patient records and charts
- Ensure exam rooms are properly stocked and prepared
