Medical Assistants with Wound Care experience needed for a Medical Facility in Beverly Hills, California.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm.
$25.00 per hour; Contract to hire.
Job Duties:
- Greet Patients, take appropriate vital signs, review current meds, and record in the medical record.
- Assist with tracking and monitoring department-specific data.
- Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice.
- Set up exam/procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs.
- Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department guidelines.
- Administer immunizations, injections, or oral medications as directed by provider.
- Draw and prepare designated lab work or specimens as provided by director.

Required Qualifications:
- Medical Assistance Certificate/Diploma from a DAIPIP-accredited program OR national certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, or MMCI.
- Experience with wound care and casting.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare patients for examination by preforming preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, and reporting patient history summaries.
- 1 year working as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting.
- Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 Years working as a MA in pediatrics.
- Experience with CS-Link/Epic.
- Experience with Quest Diagnostic Laboratory Submissions.
- Phlebotomy certification.
- Understanding of medical terminology.
- Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans.
- Experience with Autoclave sterilization.
