As a Component Sales Representative, you will:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries about components, providing accurate information and quotes.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers to grow sales opportunities.
- Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of components.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling other products within Ideal Steel’s portfolio.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of customer interactions, sales orders, and follow-ups.
- Track and report on sales metrics, contributing insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree in business or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related role (experience in manufacturing or metal building components is a plus).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Legal work authorization in the United States (sponsorship will not be provided for this role).
- Position based onsite.
