Travel Registered Nurse - Orthopedics

Quality Staffing Specialists are currently seeking skilled Registered Nurses to work within the hospital in the Orthopedic Unit.

29-bed unit that provides care from adulthood through geriatrics to orthopedic patients, as well as medical-surgical patients. Telemetry monitoring is also available. The department has a physical therapy gym on the unit that allows the patients to get adequate physical therapy without having to leave the unit. High-volume patient populations include patients who have had total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasty. Moderate volume patient populations include other types of surgical procedures, inpatient and 24-hour observation patients who are medical patients. Staffing Ratio 1:5.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have 2 years of recent Ortho experience
• EMR: Epic experience required
• Must have previous charge experience

Location: Burlington, NC
**you must reside >50 miles from the facility to qualify

Rate: $1,944/weekly

Shifts Available: Nights: 7:00 pm-7:00 am, 3x12 hour shifts

Scheduling Requirements:

• Length of contract: 13 weeks
• Hours per week: 36
• Floating Requirements: float to like acuities or less if needed
• Weekends: every other weekend required
• Holidays: every other holiday required
• No Call

Credential Requirements:

• Resume reflecting all experience & explanation of gaps in employment
• RN licensure/compact state
• BLS Certification (AHA only)
