What to expect: The Survey Crew Chief is responsible for supervising a field crew (either a one or two-person crew). Applicants should have the skills to manage daily field surveying work such as ALTA, topographic, boundary, construction stakeout, horizontal/vertical control, utility as-builts and GPS.
Salary: $30-40/hourly commensurate with experience

Work Location: Salisbury, MD
What you will get to do:
- Lead and supervise the survey crew, assign tasks, and evaluate work.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to crew members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and project requirements
You will bring these qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma Required
- Minimum 2 years of field survey experience. Preferred at least 1 years of experience as a Crew Chief
- Valid Driver’s License
- Have/Maintain a neat appearance
- Experience with ALTA Land Surveys, Topographic and construction stakeout
- Possess good communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to read and understand building or site plans
- Proficient with computers and problem solving
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Carlson Survey a plus
- Be proficient with math, data collection techniques, conventional field notes and sketches, total stations, GPS and robots
- CAD experience is a plus
