Position Overview
As a Relocation Sales Assistant, you’ll be the primary point of contact for inbound inquiries and an essential partner to our Sales Representatives. You’ll keep communication, documentation, and scheduling on track so customers receive timely updates and a seamless relocation experience. You’ll also support marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand and help drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Sales Support
- Answer and route inbound calls professionally and efficiently.
- Research and respond to inquiries on RFQs, booked moves, date changes, inventory updates, service needs, pricing, cancellations, deposits, and required documentation.
- Schedule appointments for estimates, networking events, and other sales activities.
- Provide over-the-phone estimates for smaller relocation needs.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and customers to confirm services and send required documentation on time.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Maintain an inventory of marketing materials; reorder as needed.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in electronic files and systems.
- Support strategies that promote the company’s history, values, services, and capabilities.
- Help develop and execute marketing campaigns; track results and ROI.
- Collaborate with Sales to create, update, and distribute sales materials.
- Identify, attend, and/or sponsor relevant events that support sales objectives.
Lead Generation & Follow-Up
- Research, generate, and follow up on leads from multiple sources in alignment with department goals.
- Support Sales Representatives with timely communication, accurate documentation, and consistent follow-through.
Requirements
- Professional phone presence and strong written/verbal English communication.
- Excellent organization and time management; strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable researching information, working in multiple systems, and performing accurate data entry.
- Service-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with MS CRM (including email campaigns) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to our Lorton facility.
