Job Summary
Large commercial concrete company is seeking to fill the position of Concrete Superintendent. The Concrete Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of large scale commercial structural concrete job scopes and production are met.
Responsibilities
- Review the scope of work, proposals, and drawings, to successfully communicate daily work schedules to crews.
- Oversee multiple assigned sites to confirm each project is being completed on budget and on schedule.
- Successfully and professionally communicate with General Contractor Superintendents and Project Managers on direction of scope.
- Track labor and equipment hours and communicate with the Project Management Team.
- Schedule and oversee subcontractors and material vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Examine material packages to ensure good product quality and proper quantities.
- Ensure that quality products are being produced on site while keeping the budget costs in mind.
- Assist with change orders by examining and recognizing out of scope work and communicating that to the Project Management Team.
- Assist with cost estimation or tracked time & material for change orders.
- Attend weekly sub-contractor meetings with clients.
- Maintain safe jobsite and identify hazards to ensure the safety of crew members.
- Perform safety toolbox talks with crews.
Competencies & Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High School Graduate
- Experience: 2 - 3 years as Structural Concrete Superintendent.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organization and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 Years of Field Experience
- OSHA 30 Hour Certification
- Proficient with digital construction tools and documentation platforms (Procore, email, Dropbox, Excel, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
