The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems, with proven experience working in industrial and large commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues safely and efficiently.
- Work with conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC), wiring, panels, switchgear, and motor controls.
- Collaborate with foremen, superintendents, and other trades to ensure project success.
- Follow and promote strict safety standards on all job sites.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices as needed.
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (Florida preferred, reciprocal accepted).
- Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, with at least 2 years in commercial or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and industrial safety protocols.
- Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting motor controls, transformers, and high/low voltage systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
