CNC Machinist / Setup Technician

Quality Performance Products (QPP) is seeking a motivated CNC Machinist / Setup Technician to join our growing team. We manufacture custom performance engine components and prototype parts using modern CNC equipment.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
- Install and measure cutting tools.
- Load and run CNC programs.
- Verify part quality using precision measuring equipment.
- Perform machine adjustments and basic program edits.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with fixture setup and tooling preparation.
- Follow setup sheets and manufacturing procedures.
- Work closely with programmers and engineering to produce high-quality parts.
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience operating or setting up CNC mills.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Dependable work ethic.
Preferred (Not Required):
- CNC setup experience.
- Mastercam or CNC programming exposure.
- Hurco CNC experience.
- Experience machining aluminum and steel.
- Prototype or job-shop experience.

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
