CNC MACHINIST TRAINEE

No prior CNC experience is required- we provide the tools, hands-on-training, and mentorship to help you succeed.

As a CNC Machinist Trainee, you will work directly alongside experience machinists. You will learn how to operate and maintain computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude, a high attention to detail, and a desire to learn a valuable, lifelong trade.

What You Will Learn & Do:

Machine Operation: Learn to load raw materials, execute programs, and safely operate CNC lathes.

Blueprints & Schematics: Master how to read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.

Precision Measurement: Train on industry-standard inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges, to ensure parts meet strict quality tolerances.

Deburring & Finishing: Clean, finish, and inspect completed parts to verify surface quality and remove sharp edges.

Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine machine maintenance (checking fluids, clearing chips, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications We Look For:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Strong Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and a passion for working with your hands.

Solid basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
