OVERVIEW
The Machinist will work in the Maintenance department and use mills, lathes, grinders and other tools/equipment to repair and make parts to keep our production equipment operating efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS
- safely operate mills, lathes and grinders to precise tolerances
- set-up/operate EDM CNC mills and CNC lathes
- ability to manually machine/fabricate tools, dies and assemblies with and without prints
- excellent manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail
- experience using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders etc.)
- ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements
- general mechanical skills
- die experience is a plus
- must be reliable with good work ethic
