What are the responsibilities and job description for the Steward & Event Operations position at Quality Kosher Catering?
Established, Michigan Based Catering Company is expanding and looking to add a dishwasher to the team.
POSITION SUMMARY: You will be an integral part of the company providing memorable and positive events! If you love working in a team environment, organization, cleaning and are excited about the hospitality industry, this position is for you.
This person would
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machine.
- Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook line and other proper storage areas.
- Set up or break down the dishwashing area. Wipe up spills.
- Assist with weekly and monthly cleaning projects as assigned
- Load and unload trucks with maximum efficiency and timeliness.
- Assist with event logistics
- Understand equipment knowledge and management
- Maintain safety standards
- Provide the highest level of hospitality during events (with internal or external teams).
Job Requirements
- Valid Drivers License/Chauffeur's License
- No DWI/DUI in the past 5 years,
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to work evenings and weekends when necessary
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Position requires extended periods of standing time
