Facilities/Working Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Facilities/Working Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple locations while providing hands-on operational support. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in commercial janitorial services. In this role, you will be responsible for quality control, staffing management, multi-site inspections, training reinforcement, and direct communication with company leadership. This is a full-time position requiring frequent travel between assigned facility locations and a highly flexible schedule tailored to meet specific site needs, emergencies, or off-hour requirements within your designated area.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise up to 20 janitorial employees across multiple assigned facilities.

Multi-Site Travel: Travel frequently between various facility locations within your designated area to ensure consistent operations.

Flexible Scheduling: Adapt and work a flexible schedule as needed to address specific site requirements, emergencies, or off-hour facility needs.

Operational Support: Perform hands-on cleaning duties and provide immediate shift coverage across locations to ensure seamless continuity.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular, thorough site inspections to verify strict contract compliance and maintain elite performance standards.

Training & Safety: Reinforce safety protocols, proper chemical handling (OSHA), and ongoing training compliance for all staff.

Reporting & Metrics: Document and report attendance, client concerns, inventory/supply needs, and facility update sent directly to senior leadership.

Client Relations: Act as a reliable, responsive primary point of contact to uphold the company’s service standards.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in commercial janitorial services is strictly required.

Leadership: Prior supervisory or management experience in a multi-site or mobile service environment is highly preferred.

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with professional communication capabilities.

Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and strong operational follow-through under changing daily schedules.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform routine physical labor.

Ability to safely lift and carry up to 10 pounds without accommodation.
