Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Facilities/Working Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple locations while providing hands-on operational support. In this role, you will be responsible for quality control, staffing management, site inspections, training reinforcement, and direct communication with company leadership. This is a full-time position that is Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule tailored to meet specific site needs within your designated area. Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Team Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise up to 20 janitorial employees across multiple facilities.
Operational Support: Perform cleaning duties and provide immediate shift coverage as needed to ensure seamless operations.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections to verify contract compliance and maintain high-performance standards.
Training & Safety: Reinforce safety protocols, proper chemical handling, and ongoing training compliance.
Reporting: Document and report attendance, client concerns, inventory/supply needs, and facility issues to senior leadership.
Client Relations: Act as a reliable point of contact to maintain company service standards.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in commercial janitorial services required.
Leadership: Prior supervisory or management experience highly preferred.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
Organization: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to complete accurate digital or written documentation.
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and strong operational follow-through.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform routine physical labor.
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 10 pounds without accommodation.
