Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and comfort in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality is preferred but not required. Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, and other public spaces
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to proper procedures
- Assist with special cleaning projects such as deep cleans or industrial cleaning tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and janitorial practices preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills and reliability
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Experience in hotel housekeeping management or industrial cleaning is a plus
