Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors to maintain pristine conditions.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency.
- Prepare and serve meals or snacks as needed, demonstrating basic cooking skills to support household or guest needs.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly.
- Manage residential or hotel cleaning schedules, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion of all duties.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally.
- Operate janitorial equipment safely and effectively for carpet cleaning, floor care, and other specialized cleaning tasks.
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience in residential settings or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Experience with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures and safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and tools.
- Familiarity with laundry operations, including handling delicate fabrics and stain removal.
- Background in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is advantageous for leadership roles.
- Hotel housekeeping experience can provide valuable insight into guest service standards.
- Demonstrated ability to perform floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning with precision.
