Overview
The Front Desk Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and guest services at our establishment. This position is responsible for overseeing the front desk staff, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Duties

  • Supervise front desk operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and billing information.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
  • Conduct night audits as required to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
  • Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures to maintain quality standards in guest services.
  • Utilize phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls and relay messages as needed.

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar role within the hotel industry.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the guest experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations, including reservations systems and night audits.
  • Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide front desk staff towards achieving operational goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
