Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential homes and commercial properties. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established cleaning protocols. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for all occupants.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Sanitize bathrooms, and other common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are clean and fresh for use.
• Assist with custodial duties in commercial settings, ensuring all areas are presentable.
• Follow housekeeping management protocols to ensure efficient workflow.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.

Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards is a plus.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving items as needed.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
