Duties
- Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold linens, towels, uniforms, with precision and care
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting laundry areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Handle delicate items with special care, including dry cleaning processes when necessary
- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing
- Follow safety procedures related to the use of chemicals and machinery to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with guest requests for special laundry services or urgent cleaning needs promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Proven experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and dry cleaning processes
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality standards
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- ability to handle 25-30 rooms worth laundry in 4 hours shilft if working longer then more can be foled.
- It is a part time job Satuaday and Sunday -Average 5Hrs per day
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as needed
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus but not required
