Overview
The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall condition of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This role ensures all equipment, systems, and facilities operate efficiently and safely to provide a comfortable guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems (Plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to identify maintenance needs
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
• Repair fixtures such as doors, windows, locks, and furniture
• Maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid future issues
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Maintain tools and maintenance inventory
• Assist with painting, carpentry, and minor renovations
• Keep maintenance logs and records of work performed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance roles, with a strong understanding of general maintenance practices.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
• Basic knowledge and experience using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
• Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with keen attention to detail.
