Overview
- Job Summary:
The Hotel Maintenance Worker is responsible for the general upkeep and repair of the hotel’s buildings, systems, and grounds. This includes performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests or staff to ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Conduct routine maintenance on systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting.
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning equipment, furniture, and fixtures.
- Respond to guest service requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
- Perform basic carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and minor remodeling as needed.
- Monitor and maintain the hotel's heating and cooling systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance areas and storage rooms.
- Work collaboratively with housekeeping and front desk staff to resolve facility issues.
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, or pool maintenance.
- Maintain a log of repairs and work completed.
- Be available for emergency maintenance calls (may include evenings/weekends).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.75 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
