Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using hotel management software.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with accuracy and care.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person, offering helpful solutions and information.
- Maintain clear communication with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
- Assist with night audit procedures when working overnight shifts, balancing accounts and preparing reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns, resolving issues swiftly, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Operate multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy following proper phone etiquette.
- Support guest services by providing local information, amenities details, and special requests to enhance their stay.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk roles preferred; hotel experience is highly valued.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, facilitating communication with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette and guest relations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for night audit shifts or peak times.
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and basic administrative tasks related to front desk operations.
