Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS to process orders, handle cash transactions, and manage sales efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen operations as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service or quick service restaurants with a focus on efficiency and quality
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS for smooth order processing and sales tracking
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management to prioritize tasks during peak hours without sacrificing quality or safety
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment within a restaurant or grocery store setting
