Job Description:
We're seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Companions to provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral health needs. The Companion will assist clients with community outings, companionship, social engagement, daily living support, and helping individuals remain active and engaged in their community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with community outings, recreational activities, and appointments
- Encourage independence and social engagement
- Support clients with daily routines and life skills as needed
- Maintain professionalism and complete required daily session notes
- Ensure client safety and follow company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, registration, and insurance
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
- Ability to pass a background screening
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus (but not required)
Salary : $18 - $19
