What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver/Companion position at Altruist Care LLC?
Assist individuals to community-based activities also provide assistance and training to the individual in activities of daily living. Must be age 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or GED, and have at least one year of verifiable experience working directly with individuals receiving services in a medical, psychiatric, nursing, or childcare setting or working with recipients who have a developmental disability. Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation and pass a level 2 and local background check .

Companion Care Responsibilities
- Performing personal care tasks, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks. Fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
- Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment
- Assisting with toileting
- Encouraging self-help activities
- Reporting changes in client's condition or family situation to the office
- Documenting services provided
- Assisting client in the community
- Accompanying client to scheduled appointments
- Transporting clients or running errands for clients
