Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Location: Youngsville, LA
Schedule: 5 & 2
Quality Construction & Production is accepting résumés for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to work at our shop in Youngsville, LA. This will be a full-time position with overtime possible.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Receive material from vendors
- Recording, verifying and distributing MTR’s to associated job, then to QC Department for data book recording
- Complete JSA for general forklift use as well as specific job loadouts
- Review JSA’s with crew prior to performing work
- Coordinate transportation for delivery and oversee loadout of finished products
- Inventory and record stock material stored in yard
- Stage and tag material per job and MTR list
- Deliver material to appropriate shops per the job scope
- Perform safety check on forklift and other equipment
- Maintain job files per Operations policy
- Direct vendor deliveries to appropriate departments
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience with Shipping and Receiving or Warehouse environment required
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office is a plus
- Knowledge of raw material used in metal fabrication is a plus
