Medication Aide
Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing
Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a dependable and compassionate Medication Aide to support residents’ medication needs. The Medication Aide works under the general supervision of a licensed nurse and follows all applicable requirements and facility policies.
Responsibilities
Administer medications as delegated by a licensed nurse and within the scope of Tennessee Medication Aide certification.
Follow medication administration procedures and resident-specific instructions.
Document medications administered and report refusals, errors, or concerns promptly to the supervising nurse.
Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.
Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies.
Qualifications
Current, valid Tennessee Medication Aide certificate required.
Current nurse aide certification and long-term care experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Compassionate communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
