What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Manager position at Quality Care Residential Homes, Inc.?
The Residential Manager will oversee operations of 2 group home facilities located on the same street. Residential Manager will coordinate and provide an oversight of facilities programs, staff and youth. Provide supervision and training to Supervising Youth Care Workers and Youth Care Workers. Be a self-starter and have critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Reports to and communicates with Director of Quality Care Residential Homes. Coordinate with Human Resources in hiring & training process of newly hired Supervisors & Youth Care Workers. Making a positive difference in the lives of youth day by day!
Qualifications
Must have experience in a Supervisory role or position. Bachelor’s degree is required in Social Work or related fields (e.g., psychology, human services, management, etc.). LSW or LPC is preferred. Prefer to have at least one year of full-time equivalent paid supervisor experience with an agency serving youth/adolescents. Be able to use your own vehicle. Available to be on -call when needed. In good health, physically, mentally, and occupationally capable of performing assigned tasks.

Duties
- Availability in-person 8 hours or more daily Monday-Friday/flexible schedule
- Manage supervisors and youth care workers, ensure policies, procedures and mission followed by staff
- Response to crisis on shift by supervisors
- Liaison with local schools and community partners
- Assist intake new youth into group homes
- Manage budget for group home petty cash
- Approve purchase ordering of facility supplies
- Perform staff evaluations in collaboration with supervisors
- Approve scheduling staff for shifts in coordination with Supervisors
- Manage daily functions and operations of the group home
- Assists with coordination and development of policies in the group home
- Coordinate Service Plan review meetings.
- Monitor facilities for a clean, healthy and safe environment
- Coordinate recreation schedules and other schedules
- Performance Quality Improvement and Assurance of Supervisors
- Training to new staff/supervisors on daily policies and operations
- And any other duties requested by administration.
