Job Skills / Requirements

Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and property. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, detail-oriented, and capable of responding effectively to a variety of situations while upholding company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas on foot or via surveillance systems
• Enforce access control procedures and verify identification
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
• Write clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed
• Identify and report safety hazards or suspicious behavior
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior security experience 6 month minimum required
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Basic knowledge of security systems and procedures
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods

Certifications (Required):

• Valid security guard license (as required by state/local regulations)
• F-01 Certificate of Fitness: Fire Guard for Impairment

Work Environment & Schedule:

• May include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Work may be indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
