Quality Building Maintenance is seeking a Day Porter to maintain an office building in Carmel, IN, during daytime hours. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this role will keep the facility clean, safe, and welcoming while serving as an ambassador for the company through frequent front-of-house interaction with occupants and visitors. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch period.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain facility areas throughout the office building.
- Maintain restrooms to a clean, sanitary standard.
- Remove trash and replace liners as needed.
- Restock cleaning and facility supplies.
- Care for common areas and maintain a professional lobby presentation.
- Respond promptly to spills and other immediate cleaning needs.
- Assist occupants and visitors with frequent front-of-house interactions.
- Report minor maintenance issues and follow safety compliance procedures.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in commercial cleaning.
A 39-year-old family business.
