Day Porter Floater

Job description

The Day Porter Floater will maintain cleanliness and hygiene in a multitude of office buildings and hospital environments, primarily working the day shift as an ambassador for QBM. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and handling of some hazardous materials to ensure a safe and sanitary workplace for all occupants.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors using appropriate methods and equipment
• Remove trash and dispose of waste properly
• Sanitize restrooms to maintain hygiene standards
• Dust surfaces and fixtures thoroughly
• Floating between building covering other day porters throughout Indianapolis and surrounding areas.
• Follow safety compliance guidelines, especially when handling hazardous materials

Preferred Qualifications

• Unexpired Driver's License required. (You will be driving a QBM vehicle)
• Entry-level experience in day porter services
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
• Effective time management and attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently
• Safety awareness in handling materials and working conditions
• Good communication skills
