Position Summary
Quality Assured Staffing LLC recruits qualified Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) to provide direct care support at a facility in Catonsville, MD.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and assistance to assigned patients/residents.
- Assist with activities of daily living.
- Support safe mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
- Obtain and report vital signs as assigned.
- Assist with nutrition and feeding.
- Observe patient/resident condition and report changes.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary care environment.
- Follow infection-control procedures.
- Assist nursing staff with patient-care activities.
- Follow individual care plans and facility procedures.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and safety situations.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.
- Complete required documentation.
- Perform other duties within the scope of certification and assignment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current Maryland GNA certification or applicable certification accepted by the facility.
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current driver's license.
- Successful completion of required background, medical, TB, drug, and employee-health screening.
- Required immunization documentation.
- Successful completion of facility orientation and competency training.
Schedule
Assignments are based on facility needs and may include day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Salary : $18 - $25
