HVAC & Appliance Install & Repair Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC & Appliance Install & Repair Technician to join our energetic field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and household appliances. Your expertise will ensure our customers experience reliable comfort and efficient appliance performance. Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation units, and related components using schematics and technical manuals.
• Service a variety of household appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and ovens with precision and attention to detail.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and ladder diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
• Use power tools, hand tools, plumbing equipment, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively during installations and repairs.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation of HVAC units and appliances while adhering to safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers about repair procedures, maintenance tips, and system functionality to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each job performed.

Skills

• Strong understanding of schematics, ladder logic diagrams, refrigeration principles, electrical systems, plumbing connections, and mechanical components.
• Proficiency with power tools and hand tools necessary for installation and repair tasks.
• Experience with appliance repair including diagnostics and component replacement.
• Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices for HVAC equipment and household appliances.
• Ability to read technical manuals and interpret electrical wiring diagrams accurately.
• Field service experience working with box trucks or similar delivery vehicles is preferred.
• Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients while providing professional solutions.
• Familiarity with assembly processes for equipment installation or appliance setup.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with troubleshooting skills for complex equipment repair needs.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
