The role at a glance
- Location: Fairport, NY
- Shift: C Shift, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Training: A Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) for at least 2 months before moving to C Shift
You will
- Perform meticulous soldering on electronic components
- Operate assembly equipment: hydraulic presses, drill presses, and welding machines
- Rotate among work cells to keep production moving
- Package finished assemblies; sustain a tidy, organized workstation
- Adhere to quality procedures and support continuous improvement efforts
You bring
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 1 year in assembly or lean manufacturing
- Demonstrated soldering proficiency
- Comfort working toward daily output/target goals
- Strong hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use hand tools and basic measuring devices
Physical demands
- Lift 20 lbs regularly; up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
