Head of Talent Acquisition and Workforce Strategy

Overview:

As the Head of Talent Acquisition and Workforce Strategy, you will oversee the full scope of our talent acquisition and training strategies, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the recruitment process and creating a comprehensive training infrastructure that supports the continuous professional growth of our employees. By partnering with senior leadership, you will play a crucial role in aligning talent acquisition and development with the company’s strategic goals, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and high performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
  • Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract diverse, high-quality candidates across various levels.
  • Partner with department heads to understand workforce needs and forecast future hiring requirements.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of effective training programs that align with organizational goals and employee development needs.
  • Lead the design and execution of a robust orientation training program to ensure new hires are seamlessly integrated into the organization and equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance training initiatives to improve employee performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Work closely with leadership to identify gaps in skills and knowledge, using data-driven insights, and create targeted training solutions to address them.
  • Steer round table discussions with practice leaders to forecast future needs.
  • Champion employee development programs, including mentorship, leadership training, and career progression initiatives.
  • Evaluate compensation trends and market data to ensure that the organization maintains competitive and equitable compensation practices across all roles.
  • Partner with HR leadership to ensure workforce planning and recruitment efforts are coordinated and aligned.
  • Build strong relationships with schools, universities, training programs, and external organizations to create talent pipelines and attract top-tier candidates.
  • Partner with industry and academic leaders at local schools to help spotlight dental careers, programs, and networking events.
  • Coordinate and represent the organization at recruitment events, career fairs, conferences, and networking events to build a continuous pipeline of talent.
  • Create appropriate collateral for various recruitment and training events.
  • Facilitate workforce planning training and workshops for management.
  • Measure the effectiveness of recruitment and training programs through analytics and feedback and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Develop strategic workforce plans that align with organizational goals.
  • Conduct workforce analytics and metrics reporting for effective measurements.
  • Manage and support a team of talent acquisition and training professionals, ensuring they meet performance goals and deliver results.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to talent acquisition, training, compensation, and talent pipeline development to ensure the company remains competitive.
  • Drive organizational initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment and training practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in talent acquisition and training, with a proven track record of successfully building and leading recruitment and development strategies.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams of recruitment and training professionals.
  • In-depth knowledge of best practices and tools for recruitment, onboarding, training, compensation analysis, and talent pipeline development.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using data to drive decisions and measure the effectiveness of programs.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance related to recruitment, training, and employee development.
  • Experience with HR systems such as HubSpot and Paylocity is a plus.
  • Ability to foster an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance culture through strategic talent development initiatives.
