We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite IT support in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution center environment. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting, end-user support, and close collaboration with operations teams to ensure seamless IT services.
๐ง Must-Have Technical / Functional Skills
- Strong troubleshooting experience with desktops and printers
- Hands-on experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
- Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow tool
๐ Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as the single point of contact for the Shepherdsville location
- Train all new hires on McKesson processes, procedures, and proprietary software (Scale Server)
- Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of designated IT equipment
- Conduct daily health checks for 300 printers and 150 workstations
- Manage IT asset maintenance, disposal, and inventory tracking
- Deploy EUC devices and equipment within defined SLAs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Handle IT stockroom management
- Respond to user inquiries, manage escalations, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to resolve and prevent technical issues
- Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency through technology
