We are seeking a full time Warehouse Associate in Pell City, AL for 1stshift.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Pay:

• $12.00-$15.00/hour
• Depending on experience, qualifications and certifications.

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing all aspects of warehouse functions including housekeeping tasks, preparing and checking shipments, loading and unloading of freight, including the labeling of CFS freight and filing of CFS paperwork. Complies with customer requirements, performs periodic inventories, as well as monitoring and adhering to Nissin, OSHA, CTPAT and TSA rules and regulations. Expected to demonstrate excellent customer service skills when interacting with customers.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be reliable.
• Must pay attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); OR one year related work experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Warehouse or transportation experience is a plus.
• Must be able to operate forklift.
• Ability to read and write legibly. Able to understand and execute verbal and written instructions.
• Steel toe or composite shoes required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive Freight - Unload, Check for Damage, Sign and Date Truck Pro
• Log Freight - Document Weight and Dimensions
• Freight Placement - Labeled and Moved to Appropriate Area
• Prepare Freight for Shipment - Stencil, Label, Wrap, Unpack, Repack, Record Serial Numbers, etc.
• Block and cargo containers and trucks.
• Build crates and CBU pallets using tools and materials provided.
• Inform supervisor of any damage or irregularities at warehouse immediately.
• Keep computer records accurate and up to date. Run daily reports as needed.
• General Housekeeping Duties - Sweep, Break Down Cartons, Trash Removal - Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Other duties as requested.
