Position Summary

The Senior BIM Design Specialist leads BIM strategy, standards, and technology implementation across multiple projects. This role focuses heavily on automation, computational design, and workflow optimization through Dynamo scripting and custom tool development. The position ensures consistency, quality, and efficiency in BIM models while supporting project delivery and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Strategy & Client Collaboration

Communicate BIM standards, automation strategies, and technology solutions to clients and internal teams

Participate in coordination meetings to resolve design and modeling conflicts

Support project teams in aligning BIM execution with project objectives

BIM Automation & Workflow Optimization

Develop, maintain, and enhance Dynamo scripts to automate repetitive processes

Implement and manage BIM standards across active projects

Integrate computational design and parametric modeling techniques into workflows

Support advanced BIM methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce errors

Technical Leadership & Quality Control

Serve as subject matter expert for Revit, BIM automation tools, and scripting technologies

Provide training and guidance on Dynamo, Revit API, and related tools

Ensure model integrity, quality control, and documentation consistency

Stay current with emerging technologies, scripting languages, and BIM advancements

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of BIM management experience with strong focus on scripting and automation

Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM 360

Strong experience with Dynamo scripting and Python programming

Working knowledge of computational design and parametric modeling principles

Experience implementing and maintaining BIM standards

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
