About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Product Application Engineering – NAM/EMEA to lead its regional Product Application Engineering team supporting the growing data center business.

This role will drive technical strategy, application engineering, and customer engagement for advanced fluid conveyance and liquid cooling solutions. You will partner with leading hyperscalers, OEMs, and data center customers to translate complex technical requirements into high-performance solutions, with a focus on quick disconnects (QDCs), hose assemblies, and related fluid conveyance technologies.

As part of the global leadership team, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Support, Design Engineering, and Operations to address customer requirements, support successful product launches, and influence future product development.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a regional team of Product Application Engineers across North America and EMEA.
• Foster a customer-focused engineering culture centered on technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Guide the team in resolving complex application challenges and delivering effective technical recommendations.

Application Engineering & Program Execution

• Oversee technical customer engagements from initial Request for Quotation (RFQ) through product deployment and production.
• Support the application and deployment of liquid cooling solutions, including quick disconnects (QDCs), hose assemblies, and related fluid conveyance products.
• Ensure solutions meet customer specifications, performance requirements, and application needs.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering and Operations to ensure a smooth transition from customer requirements to production.

Customer & Commercial Collaboration

• Serve as a key technical partner to hyperscalers, OEMs, and data center equipment manufacturers.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Support to understand customer challenges, develop technical solutions, and support account strategies.
• Build strong customer relationships through technical expertise, application guidance, and effective communication.

Regional Strategy & Product Innovation

• Develop and execute short- and long-term application engineering strategies aligned with global business objectives.
• Identify customer requirements, emerging market trends, and gaps in existing product offerings.
• Provide customer and market insights to influence product roadmaps, new product development, and solution improvements.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and operational success of the global data center business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 6 years of experience in engineering or sales engineering.
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or developing engineering teams.
• Strong ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and system requirements.
• Working knowledge of fluid system requirements, including flow, pressure, and material compatibility.
• Strong customer-facing, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to connect technical solutions with customer requirements and business objectives.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in data center infrastructure, liquid cooling, thermal management, or related fluid conveyance applications.
• Familiarity with quick disconnects (QDCs), hose assemblies, fittings, or similar fluid handling products.
• Experience supporting OEMs, hyperscalers, or complex industrial customers.
• Experience managing technical engagements from initial design requirements through product deployment.

Travel Requirements

Approximately 15–25% domestic and international travel.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Senior Director of Sales and Applications and is part of the global leadership team.
