Responsibilities
- Advocate for the client's needs and preferences
- Communicate effectively with the client, family, and care team
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
- Prepare light meals and snacks
- Accompany the client to grocery stores and appointments
- Run errands and assist with everyday activities
- Previous caregiving or companion care experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Compassionate, reliable, organized, and proactive
- Comfortable accompanying clients on outings and running errands
- Must be available for the entire fixed schedule
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Ability to travel around location territory
- Access to internet/mobile phone
- Consistent part-time schedule – 25 hours weekly
