Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
- Help clients take medications as directed and report any health concerns to the care team.
- Assist with walking, transfers, and mobility to ensure client safety.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in activities that support emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the client.
- Document care provided and communicate updates professionally with supervisors and family members when required.
- Build respectful and supportive relationships with clients and their families.
- Active CHHA certification required.
- Previous caregiving or personal care experience is preferred.
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and daily care tasks.
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability.
- Must pass background screening and provide professional references.
- Experience working with elderly clients, dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, or mobility assistance is a plus.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
