Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor laser cutting machines, ensuring precise execution of production orders based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Set up laser equipment, including adjusting parameters and tooling, to optimize cutting quality and efficiency.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to accurately produce parts within specified tolerances.
- Use precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production and handling materials responsibly.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, shop math skills, and dimensional measurement techniques.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in fabrication processes including tooling setup, materials handling, and machine operation.
- Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments and industrial equipment troubleshooting skills.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is a plus.
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred; familiarity with packaging and assembly line processes is advantageous.
