Metal Fabrication Welder

Position Overview
We are hiring a Metal Fabrication Welder to join a growing fabrication team. This position focuses on welding and finishing miscellaneous metal products, including stairs, railings, and other custom fabricated components. Candidates with strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply, even if they have limited experience.

- Perform MIG welding on stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metal products.
- Grind and finish welded components to meet quality standards.
- Operate overhead cranes to safely move materials and completed assemblies.
- Inspect welds and finished products to identify defects and verify quality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documents.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following shop safety procedures.
- Experience with MIG welding.
- Familiarity with a variety of welding equipment, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and technical documents.
- Basic math and geometry skills.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while meeting deadlines.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to producing quality work.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Professional welding certification.
- Experience fabricating stair stringers, porches, or similar structural components.
- Background working with miscellaneous metals.
