Electrical Integration Engineer I

Job Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Integration Engineer I to support the design, integration, testing, and implementation of electrical systems for industrial power generation equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with electrical schematics, control wiring, power generation systems, and electrical testing in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Train electricians on schematic reading, installation, testing, and labeling.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure electrical designs meet project specifications and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
- Test and inspect completed units before shipment using drawings and specifications, identifying and resolving any issues.
- Provide technical leadership on electrical component layout and design standards.
- Deliver hands-on training on electrical equipment, tools, and safe work practices.
- Develop and manage cross-training programs related to electrical systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and layouts.
- Perform electrical load calculations and standard electrical computations.
- Design and build electrical control panels and electro-mechanical systems.
- Develop electrical drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), and equipment specifications.
- Review third-party electrical components and ensure timely project integration.
- Prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design, installation, and testing of electrical equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, engineering drawings, blueprints, and control wiring.
- Proficiency with electrical test equipment, including multimeters, amp meters, functionality testing, and basic programming of electrical devices such as HMIs, displays, and sensors.
- Experience designing and building control panels for electro-mechanical systems. Experience with fuel system integration is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of AC/DC electricity and electrical theory.
- Strong knowledge of power generation equipment, including generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, and conduit systems.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
- Ability to travel to job sites as needed.

- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail.
