- 4-7 years of construction project management experience with a degree or 10 years of relevant experience without a degree
- Experience working with subcontractors and/or self-performed scopes
- Exposure to government-related work is beneficial

Typical Background:
- 7-10 years of project management experience with a degree or 15 years of related experience without a degree
- Experience with design/build delivery, value engineering, and advanced project controls
- Strong familiarity with government or negotiated contract environments preferred
- Lead projects through all phases, including estimating, planning, execution, and closeout
- Manage subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and project buyout activities
- Develop and update project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
- Monitor schedule progress and address delays or critical path impacts
- Prepare estimates, pricing adjustments, and change orders
- Conduct site visits to evaluate safety, quality, and overall progress
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear documentation and reporting
- Oversee financial performance, including billing, cost tracking, and vendor payments
- Identify constructability concerns and support value engineering solutions
- Ensure adherence to contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Support safety, environmental, and quality control programs
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development as applicable
- Participate in networking and professional growth opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Equivalent construction experience may be considered in place of a degree
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices and project execution
- Experience with scheduling, estimating, subcontract management, and cost control
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Ability to work on active job sites, including climbing and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Experience supporting government construction projects
- Familiarity with IDIQ, JOC, design/build, and fast-track delivery methods
- Line-item estimating experience
- OSHA 30 certification
- First Aid and CPR certifications
- USACE/NAVFAC CQC certification (preferred)
- Professional credentials such as AC, CPC, or PE are highly valued
