Duties
- Coordinate and implement Action Plans for students requiring special support
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, parents, and external specialists to develop effective curriculum modifications and accommodations
- Manage and oversee special education resources, assistive technologies, and support materials to enhance student learning outcomes
- Lead professional development sessions focused on inclusive teaching strategies, classroom management, and special education best practices
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs, monitor progress, and adjust support strategies accordingly
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students with diverse learning profiles, fostering their independence and confidence in their educational journey
Skills
- Expertise in developing inclusive curricula tailored to diverse student needs
- Experience working with students in academic advising roles or providing targeted support for learners with disabilities
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and accommodations that support students’ learning success
