We are currently offering a *SIGN ON BONUS * of $500, payable with $250 on your second full paycheck and $250 on the first paycheck following 6 months of employment with the Club.

Quail Creek Country Club is looking to hire Server Assistants/Food Runners. This Position is responsible for interacting closely with the Servers to create an efficient dining experience for members and guests. This position requires a candidate who works well in a team, has an outgoing personality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A SERVER ASSISTANT/FOOD RUNNER:

Job Summary:
The Food Server Assistant must be energetic, possess excellent foot speed and exhibit a friendly demeanor. This role works closely with servers to ensure our members needs are met in a timely manner. The successful candidate is also responsible for ensuring impeccable cleanliness of the dining room, executing food and beverage service according to Quail Creek Country Club standards, and adhering to food safety standards. Additionally, the Food Server Assistant must clear tables and reset them according to standards immediately after members have departed. They must set up the front of the house and back of the house for service (expo line and dish area), assist servers during meal periods, pour water, clear dishes, reset tables, run food, and maintain cleanliness of the restaurant.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should have previous experience as a food server assistant/food runner or a similar position in a country club setting; however, this is not required. They must have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, outstanding customer service and problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic. The successful candidate must also be detail-oriented and able to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Work with servers to ensure members needs are met in a timely manner
- Ensure impeccable cleanliness of the dining rooms and adhere to food safety standards
- Clear tables and reset them according to standards immediately after members have departed
- Set up the front of the house and back of the house for service (expo line and dish area)
- Assist servers during meal periods, pour water, clear dishes, reset tables, run food, and maintain the cleanliness of the dining room
- Provide excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Country Club/Restaurant experience preferred.

Must be available to work nights, weekends, club events, most holidays, and Club Black Out Dates.

Demonstrates ability to work well in a team environment.

Must possess a valid food handlers certification or must be able to obtain a food handlers certification prior to employment.

Must possess strong interpersonal skills.

Must be able to communicate with individuals from different backgrounds.

Must possess organizational skills

Must possess the ability to adapt in a changing environment.

Ability to lift and move up to 25-50 pounds.
