About the Position
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Food Runner to join our Food & Beverage team at a prestigious private country club in Florida. The Food Runner plays an important role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests by ensuring food is delivered promptly, accurately, and with professional service.
This is a fast-paced position that is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in providing outstanding hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the kitchen to members and guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Verify that dishes are complete and presented according to club standards before leaving the kitchen.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management.
- Assist servers with clearing, resetting, and maintaining dining areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and workspaces.
- Assist with carrying trays, plates, beverages, and other items as needed.
- Respond courteously to member and guest requests.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and club policies.
- Help maintain a polished, welcoming atmosphere throughout the dining areas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, or country club experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/carry food trays and other items.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
